ICFAI Business School

ICFAI refers to Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India and was established in the year 1984. ICFAI has got number of Universities, Engineering Colleges, Business schools, and other educational institutes. This institute has registered itself as a non profit organization. It has got branches/ offices in more than 250 locations in India. This institute has also got branches in Sri Lanka through "ICFAI Education Lanka " ( IEL ) which is in Colombo. ICAFI is also planning to open one of its institute in Adelaide in South Australia in collaboration with University of South Australia.

A candidate should have a bachelor degree from any recognized university with 50% marks as aggregate. Students who have appeared for their final year exam can also sit for the entrance exam.

Admission Procedure
Candidates wishing to obtain admission to this institute have to appear/give the ICFAI entrance exam commonly known as IBSAT. Select candidates are then asked to appear for the group discussion and personal interviews. ICFAI also accepts the scores of GMAT and select students on basis of that.

Application Procedure
Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the official website. The form can be filled online by paying 1000/- Rs via credit card at Candidates opting for online registration should attach their colored photograph (Scanned). Candidates can also download the form and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBS HQ Admissions Department, 13/17, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad -500082.

ICFAI Business school also provides :
  • IBSAT Merit Scholarships of up to Rs.2 Lakhs in the form of concession in tuition fee are offered to top 200 candidates on the basis of IBSAT or GMAT Scores (above 600).
  • 220 merit cum means scholarships (10 per each campus) in the form of concession in tuition fee up to Rs.2 Lakhs.
  • Campus Merit Scholarships up to 50% of tuition fee to 25% of students at each campus based on the academic performance in semesters.
  • IBS offers 2000 need-based loan scholarships up to Rs.2 Lakhs. Students can apply for loan scholarships at the end of the first academic year

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test 2009 (IBSAT 2009)
IBSAT Common Admission Test Management Programmes for Hyderabad Campus. Top 7th Ranked Bschool.

The ICFAI Business school Aptitude Test will be conducted on December 27 at around 123 test centres all over India.

IBSAT is the common admission test for management programmes at the following participating institutions:

Selection method
You will be shortlisted on the basis of your performance in the entrance test.
This will be followed by a personal interview.
Applicants with GMAT scores are not required to take the written test.
